We promote livelihood strategies that protect, recover and strengthen individuals’ and households’ abilities to earn a living. To prevent repeated displacement, we support engagement in social and economic opportunities that reinforce the adaptive capacity of systems, individuals, families and communities affected by displacement.

The Livelihoods Projects aim to assist affected communities to achieve sustainable through improved livelihoods activities, which go hand in hand with ecological management of the natural resources and community empowerment.

Our livelihoods work focuses on the following thematic areas:

  • natural resource management
  • Employment and income generation and/or diversification
  • Credit and finance facilitation
  • Technical and vocational Trainings (carpentry, sewing, weaving, and gardening, among others)
